Help build what comes next

Reform Nova Scotia is building the people, capacity and province-wide organization required to represent the concerns of ordinary Nova Scotians and advance a serious conservative, reform-minded direction.
Â
That work requires capable people who bring practical experience, professional knowledge, organizational ability, community connections or a willingness to contribute wherever they can be useful.
Â
Political experience and an established public profile are not required. What matters is a broadly shared direction, sound judgment, personal integrity and the ability to work constructively with others.
There Are Many Ways To Contribute
Building a serious and effective organization requires people with different backgrounds, skills and levels of availability.

Some roles require specialized professional expertise. Others require dependable people who can organize, communicate, conduct research, connect with communities or support the organization’s daily work.

You may be able to help with:
Organization and Administation
Governance, operations, project management, recordkeeping, scheduling and coordinating people and work.
Research and Policy
Understanding problems, gathering evidence, reviewing government programs and helping develop practical proposals.
Professional Expertise
Law, accounting, finance, healthcare, education, housing, construction, business, public safety, energy, technology or other specialized fields.
Communications
and Media
Writing, design, photography, video, websites, social media, public relations and explaining complicated issues clearly.
Connecting with people across Nova Scotia, understanding local concerns and helping build relationships within communities.Â
Community Orgainization
Public and Political Engagement.
Engaging with governments and elected representatives, organizing locally, building relationships and advocating for the organization’s priorities.
You may not know exactly where you fit yet. That’s fine. If you believe this work matters, tell us you’re interested and we can begin the conversation.
General Support

Political experience isn't required
Many valuable contributors have never belonged to a political party or considered becoming involved in politics.

Reform Nova Scotia values people who have built businesses, managed organizations, practised professions, worked in trades, delivered public services, raised families, served communities or experienced firsthand how government decisions affect everyday life.

What matters most is what you can contribute, whether you can work constructively with others and whether you broadly share the direction established here.
What happens after you contact us?
Contacting Reform Nova Scotia is not a membership application or a commitment to take on a formal role. It begins with a conversation.
Â
We will learn more about your background, interests and how you might want to become involved. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and better understand the organization being built.
Â
Some people may be ready to contribute immediately. Others may become involved later, support the organization in another way or simply stay informed as it develops.
Â
There is room for each of those forms of involvement.
